The Dandelion puts down roots almost anywhere, and it’s almost impossible to destroy. It can flourish in many climates.
The Dandelion is the symbol of the military child. Since they are subject to being plucked out of a home and moved to all parts of the world; and once again begin new friendships, establish a new home, and explore exciting places. Military children can plant themselves anywhere leaving a part of themselves behind with the people and places they touch along the way. They are well-rounded, culturally aware, tolerant, and resilient.
We, at Christmas For Dandelions, want to honor the military child by helping their parents with providing the magic of Christmas!
