Darrin grew up in Lakeland, Florida with a 3 year hiatus in Southern California in his teenage years. Graduating from Lakeland Senior High School, moved to Orlando an attended the University of Central Florida graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor’s in Business (Marketing). He worked as an optician for twelve years before going into the ministry. He worked for almost ten years in the ministry in West Orlando before moving to Defuniak Springs in the summer of 2007. He is married to an incredible wife (Maggi) and has three great daughters (pic above). They also have two son in law’s and five grandchildren. Darrin’s favorite thing to do is improve people’s vision both spiritually and physically by teaching them how to be and make disciples of Jesus. When the ocean cooperates he loves to surf and when it is not, the golf course or horse back riding are great alternatives. Darrin is an Anglican Priest ordained in a missionary order called the Anglican Mission in America (theAMission). His seminary education is from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is a Board Certified Optician – practicing in the Fort Walton Beach area while leading and pastoring a new community of faith (Prince of Peace) in both the region north and south of Eglin Air Force Base in NW Florida. His friends and acquaintances also know him by his nickname of 38 years -Scooby.

Darrin’s wife, Maggi retired from Orange County, Florida government to join him in ministry in the Florida Panhandle. Maggi leads WILL (Women In Lay Leadership) Conferences and the ministry of Christmas For Dandelions.
